I have a lot of friends on here but i have a dozen or so but we don't hang around to often because of my shift work. Mostly just one guy i ride motorcycles with.

Seriously...Someone once told me that most people you call friends are actually just acquaintances. Most people will only ever have 1 or 2 true friends. That has been so true for me.
I just have the one, and even tho we don't do much together anymore (b/c she moved to Nashville and then moved closer but still 45min away)she is still the tried and true kind of friend.

Of course, we are joking. We've been friends since middle school.
I could never wrap my head around thinking of my husband as my friend. We went from acquaintence (we met at work) to friends (for almost 2 years) to lovers to fiance'/fiancee then to being a married couple. I think of my husband as a HUSBAND and my friends as my friends!
I have three people (2 female 1 male) who are true, blue till death do us part friends. Then I have several people who I am friendly with and the rest are holiday/work/church acquaintences.
Thank goodness I have more friends than I have enemies!
I have a few, some from work, some from assorted forums (which we've actually physically met). Not too many though, by choice, as I dont really have a lot of 'social' time.
I have one real/true friend and that is my boyfriend.He's been there for me when I needed a shoulder to lean on and to cry on and have no idea what I'd do without him being in my life.He's a god send.
