BTW......I would say we have been headed for a civil war with the way the two political parties have behaved in the past 10 years or so.

The only reason that I voted no is because I live in the south and it would be hard to pick up and move. If I lived outside the south I honestly wouldn't care. The rest of the nation would probably never have to suffer through another dumb neocon in the white house and without all those right wing nut senators and congressmen the nation may actually get on the road to social progress, peace and prosperity.
If the south did suceed they would be a third world country in about 5-10 years. They would be begging the rest of the nation for a handout.

the south wouldnt be begging the rest of the nation cuz it would already be it's own nation...tho i doubt the south or any part of the U.S. could support itself
