Went to lunch yesterday and runny, room temp. applesauce was brought on a flat, little bread & butter plate. I asked if they ran out of "monkey-dishes" and was told yes when the place was dead. No wonder no business! Food was gross. Used to be a decent place!

so i'm driving to work and i'm at a stop light on a two lane road...so i casually look to my left to check out the car next to me, mainly cause i'm nosey...and what do i see but a child (probably six or seven yrs old) in the front seat with his mother (or random female adult) smoking away with the windows cracked open so maybe the kid has a chance at inhaling a few oxygen molecules... what is wrong with people!? i don't have anything against adults who choose to smoke, but please, don't do it around children!!!!

I spent a good portion of the weekend cleaning up both cars, inside and out. We had to go away today and on the way home the windshield got splattered with lots of bugs. With all the area beside the roads and all the fields and lawns out there where they could fly, why do the bugs have to fly over the roads?

New homes that are built with those stupid flush in-ceiling lights where you cant easily replace those bulbs. Its a part of electrical code these days and builders have to install them. Then they should tell the homeowner WHERE to find the bulbs so when they burn out, they can be replaced.
I personally hate those type of lights and that would be the first thing Id rip out and replace with light that I like, once the house went through the inspection.

It happened again today. I was leaving the local MickieDs after lunch and needed to make a left turn out of the parking lot in my standard sized car. First a van pulled up beside me in the right turn lane so I couldn't see if anything was coming from that direction. Immediately after that was a big 4-wheel drive pickup, and then another van. Come on - you guys can see right over top of my car. Why can't you stay back far enough so I can see if anything is coming?

Bill collectors calling repeatedly for someone who is not me, not my race, and not my gender. I've had this number for over 5 years now... and Rosa Hernandez still doesn't live here, I'm still not a female Latina, I've still never had a cell phone, and I pay my bills on time, what few there are.

Idiots.

I'm sick and tired of people passing me like a bat out of hades and then slowing way way down to make to use their cell phone.

Another dimmer switch has gone bad. That's the third one in about a month. The light will turn on/off but no dimming now on each of them. All of them are only about 3 years old, I changed them over when I bought the place.

I'll go buy replacements plus some back ups since there are several more in the house and I'm figuring they will also go bad soon.
