I did a poll of this last year in the religious section, but how 'bout a new one now?

Ok, this is not an exhaustive list, but I attempted to include most of the old favorites as well as some contemporary stuff and of course, some silly stuff!

If your personal favorite isn't included, please post! I only allowed for one choice too. If you have some other faves, you'd like to mention, feel free to do so!

You got it! I already voted on it! I listed my other 2 faves right under that~~ Carol of the Bells and O Come, O Come Immanuel!

On the more contemporary side, I also like Amy Grant's "Breath of Heaven" and "Heirlooms."

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas - was this on the poll, under another title? I couldn't find it - that's my daughter's favorite. I would pick Do They Know It's Christmas? by Band Aid. I'm an 80s music nut.

Little Drummer boy is also a favorite of mine and I never miss playing Handel's Messiah, and especially the Hallelujah chorus.

"Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" brings back memories of a little girl in 1949 looking out the window watching the snow and dreaming about Santa the first time I heard Gene Autrey sing it..

Zig Ziglar has a very poignant story about the song Sweet Little Jesus Boy in his book Confessions of a Grieving Christian. I don't remember the details completely but as I recall, it was the first Christmas after his daughter's death, and he asked the Lord to be able to hear this song that was special to him. Turns out he asked this lady who was singing at a Christmas dinner he was speaking at that evening if she knew it and she said she had just worked on it that morning and was just hoping that someone would request she sing it that night.

No, that song didn't make the cut! I have a Hallmark Snowman that plays piano and he plays that song, however!
