I had a note on our door, "We do not want and can't afford, any siding or windows at this time." Answered a knock at the door and the man pointed to my note and said "You didn't mention roofing." It did after that. lol

Ever bought something from a door-to-door salesman? - No. Come to think of it that except for someone trying to sell me on a religion I do not recall that I ever experienced that.

In the example / my experience above this question which was long ago, a couple of times I had some fun with them. I always left them confused and frustrated.
