Im in my 70s and have gone through life without any major health problems.. had many other problems though with divorce, money worries but thankfully not big health problems...At nearly 75 I can still walk smartly and look at some others a lot younger with walking sticks or in wheelchairs and think just how lucky I am..
And don't forget your kids saved you from the Big House when you almost walked out of the store with your basket, haha!
It sounds like you're active mentally and physically. My mother stayed active all her life and she also looked younger than her years. They say motion is lotion. Me, I have to have "projects" to keep me active, and make myself go for the walk, even though I enjoy it. But the older I get, the less I take for granted.
I'm lucky because my parents raised us right. Our actions had consequences coming up. While I'm not rich or famous, life is good. No complaints from me to my lot in life.
I don't attribute it to luck but life could have turned out much worse considering some of the decisions I've made in the past. Where I am in life right now is right for me.
