Good morning, beautiful people! Wow, the temps this morning on the first day of fall (officially) are in the 50s here in Texas. And yes, I just bought my annual pumpkin spice purchase because I plan on making some sweet potato pies and also simmering some apple juice and cinnamon stick stuff on the stovetop. All I can hope for is that it's sweater weather by Halloween, ya know?
Anyway, enough about all that - let's get cracking with the questions o the day!
Call first thing in the morning or call in the middle of the night?
Depends who I am calling or who is the caller
Board games or video games?
Board games. I like real life company.
Photos or videos?
Depends what kind. Tutorials - videos. Private - photos.
Social media message or text message?
From strangers - forum messages. From family and friends - txt or even better, calls
Take a friend on your family vacation or join a friend on their family vacation?
Neither. I like my vacation solo or with SO/family member. Join others? Nah... too independent for that.
As usual, bonus points for explanations.
And here's my quote for the day:
"It was on fire when I lay down on it." Robert Fulghum
Can't say - I never went to Kindergarten.
Thank you, KA.
Call first thing in the morning or call in the middle of the night? Middle of the night, because I might actually be awake.
Board games or video games? It depends on the game. I prefer Scrabble and other board games played the old-fashioned way, but I prefer to play card, puzzle and word games online.
Photos or videos? Photos, but I also enjoy videos.
Social media message or text message? Social media. Texting can be such a nuisance. I'd rather Face Time.
Take a friend on your family vacation or join a friend on their family vacation? Join a friend, because we don't have any family to do vacations with.
As usual, bonus points for explanations.
It's a reference to the Robert Fulghum book "All I Really Needed To Know I Learned in Kindergarten."
Oh, OK thanks. I was referencing his book "It Was On Fire When I Lay Down On It" which I bought strictly because I loved the title so much. It was good but I haven't read any other books of his.
