With no head, I dont think you'll feel pain. Can you?
I think maybe getting executed by being shot in the head may be more humane but thats just me.I think that woube be painless.I think you might be able to feel some pain with the guillutoine but im not sure.Firing squad may be more humane or about as humane but im not for sure either.
I think hearing the blade on the way down to chop off the head would be horrific. I think a quick bullet to the head would be preferable. Does any country still use a guillotine anyhow?

The guillotine was commonly used in France (including France's colonies), Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Germany, and Austria. It was also used in Sweden. Today, all of these countries have abolished (legally stopped) the death penalty.
The last use was in 1977.
During the time when beheading was used in various countries there were several instances where physicians observed the effects of decapitation. One physician claimed that he shouted the name of the executed convict and the eyes of the severed head turned and looked at him Others indicated there may have been 30 seconds or so of consciousness after the head was parted.
