My state (Kentucky) gained some....10,420...but just .10%....
I can see why places like NYC, LA and Chicago may have lost some, even if people love their city and love living there...
you would need a really, really good income to afford the housing and cost of living.
Not surprised about all the moving though....my family started out mostly in Kentucky and Indiana and now it's scattered to the four winds in the US!
(Even some in the expensive NYC and LA areas of the country).
