Millionaire migration.
Surprisingly, or maybe not, most aren't moving to the US.
Australia continues to be #2, behind the UAE. According to New World Wealth, approximately 80,000 millionaires have moved to the Land Down Under in the last two decades.
A few things that attract migrants to Australia are the country’s low costs of healthcare, its lack of inheritance tax, and its generally prosperous economy.
Yeah. Very wasteful.
My neighbor's roof (US) gets replaced every time there is some hail damage. Sometimes every 3-5 years
I have composite tiles that are a bit more durable.
But hey - asphalt shingles are cheap and that's what most people want.
Repurposing them into liquid asphalt, aggregates, and fiber for use in road construction, embankments, and new shingles would be a great idea.
The natural slates on my house overseas is over 150 y.o. Very few were replaced since.

The slate roofing on my paternal grandmas house that was built in the 1920s is still in place along with the slate siding that has had a few pieces replaced.
As always some great maps chock full of good information. Although, I pretty much figured the U.S. generates the most waste.
