I'm feeling like it's going to be a long, long winter. I am feeling pissed off because we got ripped off of another autumn for the second year in a row. It's one thing to willingly live with northern winters, but come on, give us our friggin' autumn! Oh well, too late now.

Do you believe climate change is happening? Wake up and smell the roses (or autumn leaves).

Been having a lot of pain from rheumatoid arthritis, especially at night, for a string of days...to the point of taking morphine on two days.

Today's weather could be called "lousy" as a compliment...grey, showers, greyer, heavier showers, etc. But physically I feel about 80% better and am obnoxiously full of joie and good will as a result while everyone else is feeling snarky.

I feel like it's a case of "Get with the program, dude!" But what the heck is the program? And who is not with it?

Feeling much better tonight, but still a bit shook up. I had an accident on Tuesday when my car went out of control, plowed through the not-fully-open garage door and with a mighty crash destroyed the garage door, the washer and dryer, the utility sink and the plumbing. The car is at the body shop having $8,000 worth of repairs. Mr. Bay and I had to go without water for two days because the pipes are broken, too. He was a good sport about it, but I'm still a nervous wreck. I just had my first shower in three days (aaaah!) and am looking forward to going out for dinner tonight and forgetting the whole thing for a while.

Still having trouble with numbness in both hands, making it difficult to type, write, hold a book, and drink coffee. Therapy tomorrow afternoon again so maybe things well get better; if only a little each day.
