This is my first time doing the QOTD. Don't hurt me!

It's all about drama.

Comedies and Food Answers are VERBOTEN (prohibited) in Today’s QOTD

Psst, I need a driver’s license, birth certificate and passport

If you watch a lot of movies and/or TV dramas, it seems like good guys and bad guys, who need to disappear, know where to find someone who can produce fake ID for them. Would you know where to go for this service?

What name would you like on your fake ID?

Once I was too cool for school and then one day I wasn’t.

Tell us the title of a movie drama (no documentaries or comedies) you like about:

Any sport
A real person
An evil child or children
A spy/spies
A natural disaster
High school or college life
Any animal/bird/fish/reptile
Murder and a cheating spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend
Heists/Robbery/Theft
World War II

OH NO, A math question!

Do you own any movies?
If yes, give us a guesstimate of the percent of them that are non-comedies.

Phew, you're done. You don't have to answer the next 2 questions unless you feel compelled to do so.

Some things to ponder for the rest of September

Did you ever wonder why decades popular Superman and Batman wear their underpants on the outside of their tights?

If you were born under a sign, do you blame your mother and/or father for not getting to the hospital maternity ward fast enough?

1 Magnum PI
2 The Fugitive
3 Perry Mason

Most!

Phew, you're done. You don't have to answer the next 2 questions unless you feel compelled to do so.

Some things to ponder for the rest of September

Did you ever wonder why decades popular Superman and Batman wear their underpants on the outside of their tights?
Because they're odd products of Hollywood type imaginations. Forerunners of the morons that attach their pants to the bottom of there underwear and use one hand to hold them up all day.
If you were born under a sign, do you blame your mother and/or father for not getting to the hospital maternity ward fast enough? I was actually born in the hospital....no signs nearby.

Good job! Laura C .

If you watch a lot of movies and/or TV dramas, it seems like good guys and bad guys, who need to disappear, know where to find someone who can produce fake ID for them. Would you know where to go for this service?
No, I really wouldn't. I've seen ads for such services online and in newspapers, though.
What name would you like on your fake ID?
Laura Stowe

I really can't answer this because I worked nights for over 30 years and never got into any of the prime time TV dramas.

Tell us the title of a movie drama (no documentaries or comedies) you like about:

Any sport Rocky (1977)
A real person The King's Speech (2010)
An evil child or children The Bad Seed (1956)
A spy/spies Goldfinger (1964)
A natural disaster San Francisco (1936)
High school or college life Dead Poets Society (1993)
Any animal/bird/fish/reptile Lassie Come Home (1943)
Murder and a cheating spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend Double Indemnity (1944)
Heists/Robbery/Theft The Asphalt Jungle (1950)
World War II The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)

OH NO, A math question!

Do you own any movies? Yes, quite a few.
If yes, give us a guesstimate of the percent of them that are non-comedies. I'd say about 75%

Phew, you're done. You don't have to answer the next 2 questions unless you feel compelled to do so.

Some things to ponder for the rest of September

Did you ever wonder why decades popular Superman and Batman wear their underpants on the outside of their tights?
I don't know. Aerodynamics?
If you were born under a sign, do you blame your mother and/or father for not getting to the hospital maternity ward fast enough?
By "under a sign" do you mean a road sign? My mother got to the hospital in plenty of time. In those days laboring women went to the hospital a lot earlier in the labor process and got to stay for 10 days after giving birth. Now they want you to wait until the contractions have been strong for a couple of hours and are only 4-5 minutes apart, and they kick you out after one day.

Thanks, LauraC. Great job!

Ah, funny you should ask. I'm in a witness protection program, which explains why I now live deep in the French countryside, down a barely used lane, and hardly anyone ever even walks down it.

The way you go about it is.. ooh, hang on. There's someone coming to the front door.

Be right back...

I thought the Nelson family....Ozzie & Harriet and two teens were really weird. Nothing was ever out of place, everything and everyone was clean, the guys dressed in jackets and ties far too often and Ozzie's occupation seemed hazy to non-existent.

Kukla, Fran and Ollie were really closer to normal, despite their unusual appearances.

Did you ever wonder why decades popular Superman and Batman wear their underpants on the outside of their tights? I used to wonder if they wore underpants under all that stuff, and I also wondered why they didn't have "bunches" in their shorts like real guys.

If you were born under a sign, do you blame your mother and/or father for not getting to the hospital maternity ward fast enough?

My sister was born in a midwife's farmhouse. But when I came along my parents made it to the hospital in time. But the parents of a classmate didn't on child #6. The father had to pull over to the side of the highway and help deliver the child in the back seat....there were so many signs by the road in those days he could have been born under anything.
