Hello and Happy Friday Night/Saturday - Hello! Thanks for posting the Questions!

Happy July 1st. The year is halfway over. - Hard to believe but true.

Has it been a good year, a not so good year, or a bad year so far? - Not so good.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you received a card in the mail? - Birthday card from my brother last March.

Do you have any stamps in your house? - Yes

What’s on them? - Breast cancer awareness. They are charity stamps. I pay a little more for them.

Do you know how much a stamp for a letter costs? - The cost is more for the stamps I buy but not noticeable... Regular - taking a guess because I never look up anything when answering these questions -
Spoiler
49 cents?

Do you have a mailbox? Describe it. - Small, rectangular in shape. This building was built in 1937 and the mailboxes are probably the same age.

Do you use a P.O. Box? or something else? - No / N/A

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather win an Olympic Gold Medal or an Academy Award? - The latter means more money. But I don't want to be famous...

Would you rather be the boss or the employee? - It depends. I'm not looking for anymore stress in my life.

Would you rather be great at math or an amazing writer? - I love to write.

Would you rather have a submarine or a space shuttle? - No interest...

Would you rather live in a home with no electricity or in a home with no running water? - Pass

Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food? - Tough one. I love my daily salad and I like to cook...

Would you rather eat rice with every meal or eat bread with every meal? - Bread

Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home? - RV

Bonus Questions:
What is your guilty pleasure? - Ice cream

Has anyone ever saved your life? - Maybe. I remember my father pulling me out of the water when I was about 5 or so. How dumb for that to happen in the first place!

What do you bring with you everywhere you go? - Wallet and keys

Are you a very organized person? - Almost.

What is something that is popular now that annoys you? - Oh gosh, not sure I should go there but tattoos top my list along with a lot of so-called "music" today.

Just For Fun:

It’s time for a round of Scattergories
Starting with the letter “M” give one answer to each of these categories.

Things That People Are Afraid Of
- Mice

Desserts - Milky Way candy bars

Things You Do On Vacation - Motorcycle riding (but not me)

Things In A Barn - Manure

Itchy Things - Mosquito bites

Expensive Things - Motor home

Something From A Bakery - M&M's on top of brownies

Things With A Door - Macy's (store)

5 Letter Words - Money

Brand Names - McDougall's (very good soup line)

Happy Saturday!

Has it been a good year, a not so good year, or a bad year so far?

Uneventful.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you received a card in the mail?

Any card?

Do you have any stamps in your house?

I don't think so.

What’s on them?

Do you know how much a stamp for a letter costs?

I'm not exactly sure.

Do you have a mailbox? Describe it.

It's gray on a pole.

Do you use a P.O. Box? or something else?

No.

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather win an Olympic Gold Medal or an Academy Award?

I don't care.

Would you rather be the boss or the employee?

Boss.

Would you rather be great at math or an amazing writer?

I already suck at math so it wouldn't hurt for me to be amazing at it. Though writing would be great, too.

Would you rather have a submarine or a space shuttle?

Either, but not in the water and not in space. In the backyard. Then I would convert it into a fun place.

Would you rather live in a home with no electricity or in a home with no running water?

No water because there are still ways to have clean water.

Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?

Cold food.

Would you rather eat rice with every meal or eat bread with every meal?

Rice.

Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home?

RV.

Bonus Questions:
What is your guilty pleasure?

I'm not sure because I don't really feel guilty.

Has anyone ever saved your life?

No.

What do you bring with you everywhere you go?

Phone.

Are you a very organized person?

Yes.

What is something that is popular now that annoys you?

Overly dramatic "news" headlines, especially with trivial things.
For example, "Beyonce posted X on Instagram and the internet went crazy!" Especially when it's on the main page of a news site. Just shut up.

Hello and Happy Friday Night/Saturday Happy July 1st. The year is halfway over.

Has it been a good year, a not so good year, or a bad year so far? Each year the speed at which I approach the grave increases. This year was no exception.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you received a card in the mail? Today I received a business card from the parts company who sent me a tractor part.

Do you have any stamps in your house? Always.

What’s on them? John Wayne, wildlife, flowers and a few others I can't remember. I order my stamps online.

Do you know how much a stamp for a letter costs? Isn't 1st class $0.49 now? I always buy "Forever" stamps.

Do you have a mailbox? Describe it. I think I have the largest one allowed for a rural box. It's black with red numbers and letters and it sits on a white steel post. One of the door hinge rivets has been replaced with a small bolt and nut because my postman slid into the box one rainy day nearly severing the door from the box.

Do you use a P.O. Box? or something else? Nope. We have mailboxes at both homes.

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather win an Olympic Gold Medal or an Academy Award?

Would you rather be the boss or the employee? I'd rather be retired and be neither.

Would you rather be great at math or an amazing writer?

Would you rather have a submarine or a space shuttle?

Would you rather live in a home with no electricity or in a home with no running water?

Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?

Would you rather eat rice with every meal or eat bread with every meal?

Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home?

Bonus Questions:
What is your guilty pleasure? A real Coca Cola.

Has anyone ever saved your life? Yes they have.

What do you bring with you everywhere you go? A baseball cap.

Are you a very organized person? Yes. I keep a daily diary of goings on.

What is something that is popular now that annoys you? The electronic nightmares they now call automobiles.

Just For Fun:

Hello and Happy Friday Night/Saturday Happy July 1st.
The year is halfway over. It sure is!

Has it been a good year, a not so good year, or a bad year so far?
So so. I'm grateful for the good things.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you received a card in the mail?
Today! Srsly. From an old friend who'd fallen out of touch. Talked on the phone a couple hours ago.
Do you have any stamps in your house?
Many.
What’s on them?
Flags.
Do you know how much a stamp for a letter costs?
44cts was my guess before looking it up. It's gone up a nickel.
Because of forever stamps, you can lose track. Intentional on their part?

Do you have a mailbox? Describe it.
It's a box that the postal carrier puts mail in.
Do you use a P.O. Box?
I have.
or something else?
Dixie cups with string attached.

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather win an Olympic Gold Medal or an Academy Award?
Olympic becuase that would require working out more.

Would you rather be the boss or the employee?
My own boss all the way!
Would you rather be great at math or an amazing writer?
I can be both.
Would you rather have a submarine or a space shuttle?
Have? Neither. I'd like to ride in both. Briefly.
Would you rather live in a home with no electricity or in a home with no running water?
Tough choice. I'd say with electricity.
Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?
Good golly, Lisa, where do you dig these up?
Would you rather eat rice with every meal or eat bread with every meal?
Bread.
Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home?
RV

Bonus Questions:
What is your guilty pleasure?
You could say it used to be sweets. I've given them up completely now. I guess it's diet soda.
Has anyone ever saved your life?
No doubt.
What do you bring with you everywhere you go?
Driver's license, keys, money, and self defense.
Are you a very organized person?
Meh. 7 or 8 out of 10.
What is something that is popular now that annoys you?
The way almost everyone is glued to a cellphone. It's ridiculous.

Hello and Happy Friday Night/Saturday Happy July 1st. The year is halfway over.

Has it been a good year, a not so good year, or a bad year so far?
Good.

Today’s Questions:
When was the last time you received a card in the mail?
May 10th of this year.

Do you have any stamps in your house?
Yes. Tons of them. I am a philatelist.

What’s on them?
The ones I use to mail things are "forever" stamps that I bought years ago. They have a liberty bell on them.

Do you know how much a stamp for a letter costs?
No.

Do you have a mailbox? Describe it.
It's brick and on the curb. The brick matches the brick on the house.

Do you use a P.O. Box? or something else?
No.

Extra Credit Questions:
Would you rather win an Olympic Gold Medal or an Academy Award?

Would you rather be the boss or the employee?

Would you rather be great at math or an amazing writer?

Would you rather have a submarine or a space shuttle?

Would you rather live in a home with no electricity or in a home with no running water?

Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?

Would you rather eat rice with every meal or eat bread with every meal?

Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as your home or an RV as your home?

Bonus Questions:
What is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate

Has anyone ever saved your life?
Yes.

What do you bring with you everywhere you go?
Keys, phone, nitroglycerin, money, drivers license, sunglasses, chap stick.

Are you a very organized person?
Somewhat.
