~ Name 5 old rock bands that nobody else here in the Fryday Fill-Ins has mentioned already (today)! Oh.... Nobody else has mentioned? I'd need to look for some pretty obscure bands.

~ Warp to a distant town/city instantly, just for a 2 hour limited lunch, FREE!: A small town in Greece, I think. I have been wanting Greek food lately.

Please don't eat the Daisies...leave them for the wabbits. No daisies here yet. A few dandelions though and I've tried them.... fried dandelions and dandelion wine. I will definitely leave the dandelions for the wabbits.

Thanks, roosty! Enjoy your day, all!

Mentioned today? Well, I'm near the top plus I hardly ever read answers before I post mine. I post then read others.

I mentioned a couple of these in the past and I won't be too obvious:

The Kinks, Climax Blues Band, Savoy Brown, Deep Purple, Humble Pie

Edit: I see Laura mentioned the Kinks. Way to go! Add Foghat instead.

~ What place(s) do you think should be open for business at an earlier hour in the morning? Gee, I don't know. Except for work, I don't leave the house early in the morning, so I'm not aware of the time most businesses open for the day.

~ What place(s) do you think should close up at an earlier hour in the evening/night? All retail stores, around the winter holidays and on holidays throughout the year. I don't think they should stay open till all hours at then because it's not fair to the employees who are prevented from spending time with their families and friends on the holidays. Let the shoppers shop during normal business hours.

~ Have you any onion or garlic powder? Yes to both. I use garlic powder fairly often.

~ Have you a skillet with a glass lid? Not a skillet. I do have some Visions cookware that is all glass, including the lids, but none of the pieces are skillets.

~ What did you last eat that had either spinach, garlic or mushrooms in/on it? I had shrooms in the salad I ate for lunch yesterday.

~ What FREE book would you like to receive in the mail this week? ANY kind of book will do! Hmmm. I don't know. I have several books on my nightstand waiting to be read. I don't need any more right now. If I think of something later (when I'm more awake!), I'll edit this answer.

~ You HAVE to sit down...on whatever you'd like...for 8 hours...somewhere! For a FREE $5,000 cash prize! WHERE in the United States would you like to sit? Anywhere at all, inside or outside...: In the deep forest in northern Minnesota, at the edge of a lake.

~ Name 5 old rock bands that nobody else here in the Fryday Fill-Ins has mentioned already (today)! I don't have time right now to go back and read the other answers, so I'll answer without benefit of reading them. Dave Clark Five; Herman's Hermits; The Buckinghams; Creedence Clearwater Revival; The Byrds.

~ Warp to a distant town/city instantly, just for a 2 hour limited lunch, FREE!: Salsburg, Austria. (It's on my must-see list and I love German/Austrian food.)

Please don't eat the Daisies...leave them for the wabbits. I remember the TV show, Please Don't Eat The Daisies. Haven't heard of it for decades. I may look it up and see if it's available to watch again. Happy Fryday, everybody!
