"Oh I'm sure" said Brian, "I heard Pa say to Ma last night", "okay we might as well have the old goat over for dinner today as any day".

Will you be watching?
Probably not.
Which team will you root for, Falcons or Patriots?
I'll cheer for football game food. Team Nachos and Team Soft Pretzel with Mustard.
What prediction do you think the final score to be?
I predict the final score will be 2 Alka-Seltzer to 3 Rolaids.
Do you have any bet's on the game?
I bet it's a few seconds of "game" interspliced with overpriced commercials.
Are you having, or attending, a Super Bowl Party?
Not watching is reason enough to celebrate.
Or will you just relax in the recliner and have some chips/dip and favorite drink?
That reminds me. Team Iced Tea may make a showing.

If not watching the football game what are you planning to do?
Fun with taxes.
Have you watched the Phoenix Open Golf Tournament being played this week?
Caught part of a golf game on TV that was in AZ so probably yes.
Are you a golf fan? Meh.
What are you a fan of? Nachos.

Misc:
When was the last time you used a flashlight?
This evening. A dog was in our backyard. This is a prob lem because 1. We don't have a dog and 2. Our back yard is closed and no random dogs should be in it. It must have jumped the fence to get both in and out. When it was on the back porch I grabbed a flash light and a broom. If it was vicious I was gonna sweep it. By the time I went out jsut seconds later it was gone. I checked out front too and it was nowhere in sight. Maybe it jumped into a neighbor's yard or booked it down the street. Our closest neighbors don't have backyard dogs.
Have you ever used Velcro for anything?
Many times.
Have you checked your carbon monoxide batteries yet this year?
Thanks for the reminder.
When did you last buy some new footwear?
For myself it's been a while back.
What did you buy^?
Black leather shoes.
Do you know how to do the Heimlich Maneuver?
Yes.
Have you ever had to use it ^?
Nope.

Old goats are tough. I recommend a slow roasting BBQ.

And it beats being a goat.

Historical moments of note for February 5:

He's gonna need some Rolaids and Alka-Seltzer.

No problem. We'll save some Nachos for you as long as you don't wax poetic about Queso the way Ted Cruz did.

I'm really not interested in this event, but I note that the venue is the old Reliant Stadium in Houston! Been there a few times and coincidentally Mrs J flew into Houston the day of the last Superbowl last held there in 2004!
