Has anyone heard of this blog site? I think it's one of the funniest new blog sites on the web. It's mostly about stereotypes and pertains more to yuppies than white people. Check it out.
Haha! Those are pretty funny and I have to say that I am guilty of just about every single one of them. For example: I also heard about this list when I was listening to NPR!
I've gotten a huge kick out of that website since it went up. Granted it is describing a certain type of 'white person', but they pegged me pretty good on a few.
There's an active thread on the Jacksonville site right now about this very blog. My only comment is that a friend told me once that if it had a plug, I had to have it. Unfortunately, I think she was right.
Today's (multilingual kids) is a killer.
Wry smiles all around, punctuated by loud belly laughs.
The only difference is that I bustle in the kitchen listening to hard rock or punk rather than Jazz.
The bottled water part cracked me up..My grandkids come , open the refrigerator, look in the cupboards, on the back porch and search the house..Then they turn to me and say in a whiney voice, "Doncha have any water?"
blue - hah. I don't do the bottled water thing either (except at work where I buy one bottle and refill it over and over) and I've had friends come over and when I point to the tap when they ask for water, I can sometimes tell they are disappointed.
Personally, I like my local tap water and have been drinking it for over thirty years, why would I pay for someone else's tap water (which is often what bottled water is).
