We thought a large one we'd sent my parents one year was lost or stolen, but it was eventually found by their neighbors behind the bushes off their front porch a couple of months after Christmas! My parents lived on one corner & their neighbors lived across the street on the other corner where their driveways and garages faced each other, which everyone used for entrance into their homes...neither ever used their front entrances since they faced a busy street & intersection. The UPS guy not only got the house wrong, but put it where no one ever went except to clean up when it was warmer weather! On the other hand, he did hide it well!
Foodie Questions: Buttermilk, yea or nay? For baking only.
It's cookie exchange week. If we were exchanging cookies:
-Which kind of cookies would you hope to get?
Fruitcake cookies like my MIL used to make, the best I've ever had!
-Which kind of cookies would you hope not to get?
Was going to say I'd never had a bad cookie of any kind... but, did receive some when working in Mexico from my young assistant for Christmas... that weren't cooked at all & were like eating lots of raw flour mixed w/a little peanut butter! Thanked her for the thought , but disposed of those in the trash later at the hotel. What flavor are your computer's cookies?
Deleted & gone lest they spoil!
Just for fun: "Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting." Remember that song?

Sender or recipient, have you ever had a package lost or stolen or with other delivery problems? If so, please elucidate if possible. There have been a rash of package thefts and vehicle break-ins in our neighborhood lately, but so far I've been lucky. I always check the tracking number so I know what day the package is coming, and then I keep an eye out for the delivery truck. It helps a lot that Mr. Bay and I are both retired, so we're home all day to receive deliveries. We have also taken in neighbors' packages when we can see that the driver left it on the porch.
Foodie Questions: Buttermilk, yea or nay? To drink, nay. In recipes, yea.
It's cookie exchange week. If we were exchanging cookies:
-Which kind of cookies would you hope to get?
Mexican wedding cookies or chocolate brownies
-Which kind of cookies would you hope not to get? Sugar cookies with a lot of sugary icing and decorations. The kind that look pretty but taste boring. What flavor are your computer's cookies? Ar ar ar.
Just for fun: "Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting." Remember that song? Yes, but it was never one of my favorites.
Have you ever studied a martial art? No If so, which one? --
Or have you ever wanted to learn a martial art? Why or why not? It might be useful for self-defense, but I am probably too old to be any good at it.
