MonaLisaVito...Thank you for the fun and games of this contest. I wish now that I had entered more than one picture of our place in the woods and the lake. The lake is what really makes living here so great. You did a fantastic job and owe you a big Thank You. Really enjoyed all of the photos everyone entered. Lot of pretty places.
This poll will close on 03-03-2008 at 03:31 PM - Then we will know the winner.
Thanks everyone for particpating, these were great pictures!!!!
NWV, or anyone else, please feel free to start posting any pictures you want on this thread. If anyone has any extra pictures to share of their city go ahead and post them now - I'm sure everyone would love to see them!!
Here are a few more pics of my surrounding area. Since we are very rural the only things I can share about my neighborhood are cotton, tobacco, bean, corn and wheat fields...and cows, chickens, pigs and goats...so I opted to instead attach photos that, if you live anywhere within 50 miles of me you will know what these photos are about.
MLV...now that the contest is in the poll stages how do you plan on spending your new found "free time"?...

and a few weeks ago, yes, it was snowing in Alabama I moved away from this stuff only to get it here. I live on top of a mountain also, which is why it stuck to the ground in my yard.
LOL! MonaLisa, I originally thought UncleBatz pics were yours because most of my family live in AL and there are cotton fields down the road from my dads house.
Here are a few more from my area...
just a few miles from our house...
our downtown(the church and library park are right around the corner and the Kennebec River is a block to the right)
