Have you lived somewhere referred to as a “tri-state area” or “capitol district” ? I've not lived in any place referred to as tri-state or any state or Federal capitol district. I preferred commuting to living there.
Capitols are good places to live when economies are slow. Harry Truman once said "The buck stops here" when referring to responsibility. Modern politicians thought he meant tax dollars.

Have you lived somewhere referred to as a “tri-state area” or “capitol district” ? No. Although I know there is a tri-state area up in northern Delaware, Pennsylvania, and southern New Jersey.
