Ten minutes ago a young fellow called me to rebuild his small tractor engine for pay. Of course, I refused but my point here is, who calls me to pay me to identify some rodent that has wandered into their backyard?

What do you remember best? Again, from all those classes listed above, I remember best some of my college biology and geology classes for their very interesting field trips and professors.

When I was home sick in grade school in the Forties my mother would turn on the radio to entertain me, and all that was on were the soap operas so I got to know them and their characters, including the Bauers of The Guiding Light. It and Lorenzo Jones and His Wife Belle were my least favorites...I liked the people who had naughty lives like Mary Noble, Backstage Wife, Stella Dallas and Portia Faces Life. My mother herself never listened to soap operas.
