. When rooms aren't being used here at home we leave doors open.
I leave for work around 4:30 so don't know when the trash man comes around.
Thanks for the questions, happy Monday!
Today’s Question:
Have you ever broken a lamp ? Probably-
I've had lamps that broke, though not sure if those can be laid at my feet (as if I were 'the cause' for their breakage)
a mirror ? Quite a few.
The "bad luck" myth doesn't worry me-it's the broken glass that frightens me.
When I was a kid, I played with large sheet of mirrored glass (lacked frame or edge coverings-
and, inevitably, it fell over onto floor & shattered into a bajillion fragments.
I was scolded, but it was the (sharp shards of) broken glass itself that was most scary to me.
a dish/plate ? While washing dishes-either dropping in sink or colliding w/another item in sink.
a drinking glass (and mugs, too) ? While washing dishes
Extra Credit:
Do you hear what time garbage trucks start pickup in morning ?
6:55 a.m. I expect to hear that tomorrow morning.
Do you live along a school bus-or a town/city bus-route ?
Bonus:
When you were a little kid, did you ever get in trouble for drawing or writing on the wall (inside your home) ?
Yes-I didn't understand then why it was considered bad thing to do.
Drew on a guest bedroom wall with pencil (I think) and bright pink-red lipstick.
It stayed that way for years bc. no one bothered to fix/repaint wall.
I also wrote & drew in my parents' books & on some record album sleeves-I didn't know any better.
Just for Fun:
When a room (at home) is not in use/occupied, do you leave the door open or closed ?
Have you lived someplace that had…
swinging “batwing” cafe/saloon double doors (such as between kitchen and dining room) ?
or “Dutch doors” also known as stable, double-hung, or half-doors ? No, but these types of unusual/nontraditional architectural/interior design elements intrigue me.
