Let's see if animalcrazy is paying attention. I love artichokes.
Boil or steam artichokes. turn upside down and let drain and cool. Then place right side up into a plastic bag. Mix olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, onion powder, crushed garlic together and drizzle over artichokes. Close bag and place in fridge over night. Eat them cold. Once you finish eating the leaves scrape off the fuzz and discard. Sprinkle some salt of the remaining heart and eat.
