Does anybody know why . . .
you can look and look for a thumbtack, grass burr, tack or contact lens and no luck, but step on it barefoot the minute you stop looking?

Usually I step on one with flip flops on and walk around uncomfortable for days......duh........

Does anybody know why, if I leave a drink out, one of those little flies finds its way into it and starts paddling around, like my drink is its own personal swimming pool?

It's called " slip stream"... Harold the lead goose breaks the wind... for George the next in line.. and just off center.. he then breaks the wind... for the next and so on. Think NAS Car racing..
