Here's the 8n I want. It's a New Holland and it's 50 hp. They originally were around $30,000 when they first came out a few years ago but the price may match the horsepower now.
I never did find the miss in my Ford. It's a dead miss that has developed since I used the tractor last month. Probably in the distributor but, anyway, I got the weeds knocked down for now.

Just a WAG Check the distributor cap for a crack.. When I did Votech School in the 60's we did competition with other schools. 1 hour figure out the problem.. It was a gas / diesel McCormick tri-wheel 1950.. start on gas - switch over to diesel. 5-6 of us worked on that for the 1 hour. Never did get it started.. checked everything.. They had taken a carpenter pencil and run many lines of graphite around the inside of the cap grounding out each contact point.. when cleaned it started
