I think she screwed up her relationship with God and was simply looking for a way to leverage her standing with (Him/Her/It).

Her timing does seem to have been a bit odd, though.

Well, she could have been one of those really MEAN, and really TOUGH type of women. After all, she DID say she had went behind the building to use the bathroom. Maybe she had the crowbar because she was afraid she was so tough, she might sh*t a wildcat!!
