When is the last time you went to a State Fair? I haven't been to a fair for years. The last time I went to anything like that was the Glen Burnie Carnival maybe 13 or so years ago. It always falls on the week we go away for vacation. There's no way of knowing ahead of time either, since we usually book in February.

Summer: Go to the beach, ride my bike even in the rain. I got soaked on one of our steamy nights and if felt so good. Dance in the street with friends like I did last night. Walk the dogs, garden, stand naked in the rain in the back yard late late at night. (I told you I was the woodsy out doors type.) Walk in the park and see thousands of fireflies flashing from the ground up to the tree tops. Walk around late at night and talk to the other weirdos out there like me. I've met the nicest people and others not so nice. Winter. Walk in the snow, go sledding, ice skating and even shovel snow.
