I studied French for three years at school. I can count to ten, and ask the time........ How were we supposed to concentrate on learning French with such a Goddess teaching us?

The art teacher was a honey too.......another friend really liked her a lot. A few years later when I was 16, I saw the same friend riding past me on his motor bike. The art teacher was riding pillion behind him...... I never did find out what was going on there.

The history teacher was another attractive lady, but quite authoritative. She ran a tight ship, and I enjoyed her class.

The Maths teacher was great, because he liked to talk about the war. Didn't take much to take him away from teaching to talking about Dunkirk......

I'm thinking that if people stop responding to that stupid question, the topic will drop off the board.

I wish.

The next 2 storms that the weather forecasters say are coming our way.
As far as temperatures go, we're on a roller-coaster ride. One week we are at mid 40 - low 50's, then down to the teens, back up again, and now going back down.

I have discovered that good quality leather handbags are heavy before you even put anything in them. If they toss change in the bottom of the bag it can also add a lot of weight.

I've been waiting on warmer weather so I'm thinking about R&Ring a carburetor on a small engine outside today.

I can stop at the bigbox hardware stores and buy all the parts I think I’ll need for a maintenance job at home and still not have the one part I needed to finish the job. WHY
