I fell asleep at about 6 PM. Slept for an hour and a half. I am so not going to fall asleep any time soon.

Well firsts are hard to come by at our age but today was the day for one. My mother , past the mid 90’s, for the first time sent us a text begging us to call 911 as she was in trouble. Now I’m wondering 2 things? How did she learn to text with a system full off high powered pain killers and if I can learn to be that mischievous at that age? She really wants out of her rehab center but she now she needs 24/7 medical care. I need to think this over and start scheming for the future.

My wife has owned a cell phone for about 25 years, and still doesn't know how to send a text. I don't own one, so I needn't concern myself........

Still, if your mum can learn to text, and little children can do it, well, it can't be hard can it? Maybe there is hope for Judy after all.

I’m suspicious of her roommate doing it after some thought. Mom’s been a bad girl towards her. She wanted a private room but got a semi private instead. Such is life.

First time in years I've contemplated pulling the covers over my head and spending the day in bed.

Almost 2pm here, and my workday is done!

So might drive down the road to Stratford-Upon-Avon and meet up with a couple of chums for drinks and some nosebag. Should be pretty quiet since it's not the tourist season yet
