Do you know the name of your state bird? You just said it was the loon. OoooOOOOooo-oooo.
Do you know what your state tree is? Pinus Resinosa. Yes, I said PINUS.
Do you know your state flower? Lady's slipper. So delicate and pretty.
Do you know your state beer? I once did a program for work in which I brought in an author who had written a book about the history of breweries in the state. The whole town was SO mad at me, apparently that was very sinful. But those who came really enjoyed the program!
Do you know the year your state became a state? 1856. Now let me look it up. Shoot, it was 1858.
Do you know your state motto? Star of the North.
Do you even know what state you're in?
What is your states most famous point of interest? Well, we all disagree about this. Maybe we're best known for the source of the Mississippi River in Lake Itasca. It's pretty unimpressive to look at.
Anything else about your state you want to comment on? Well the people in the politics forum seem to think that it's one of the best governed states in the U.S. Don't know that I agree.

What is your weather like right now? Cool but humid. I need to mow so it better be drier tomorrow.

If you could move right now where would you move to? In two weeks I'm moving to . . . won't say where, yet.

What did you have for dinner tonight? I'm still clearing the frig in prep for the move, so I finally cooked the tofurky I've had in the freezer since last Thanksgiving, and I'll probably be eating it for the next week. It's actually pretty good!

I also remember walking down the sidewalk at a particular intersection in my former city and after conducting a brief transaction, I left the bank less than five minutes after going in only to see that a car crashed into the sidewalk where I was walking a mere five minutes before

^ Don't move here. Most people are rude and the traffic is insane, in the Washington, DC area. Baltimore too. I've lived in both but liked Baltimore a little better. Taxes are too high as well.

Have you ever been in an auto accident? - Yes. Only once (when I was 16 years old and not prepared) that it was my fault.
Have you ever witnessed an auto accident? - Yes, but nothing major.
Have you ever been a victim of a crime? - Yes. I was mugged in Washington, DC once. I've posted the details here before. I was beat up pretty badly and it took me 3 weeks to recover. After my attack I had to wait over 3 hours in the waiting room of the nearest hospital, Holy Cross in Silver Spring, MD. which I drove myself to.
Don't get me started on the worthless DC cops that came to the crime scene that night.

Had my car broken into a few times.
Have you ever witnessed a crime? - I saw a woman getting mugged / attempted rape and I chased off her attacker.

What is the last fun thing you've done recently? - I went to a 50th birthday bash at a nightclub this past Friday night with a live band. It was a private party.
What would you like to do for fun next? It would not be PG-13.

Are there any TV shows that you secretly enjoy? I haven't watched any TV in over a year. No "secret" but the closest to TV I watch are clips of "Real Time With Bill Maher" on You Tube.

What is your weather like right now? Way too hot. Heat index around 100 degrees. It's supposed to cool off soon.
What kind of weather would you like? 70 Degrees, partly sunny.

If you could move right now where would you move to? A lot of places I'd rather be right now. Too many to list...

What did you have for dinner tonight? - Last night - sandwich. I work weekends but I plan to cook tonight as I get off earlier.
Did you cook? I cooked a breakfast sandwich before work yesterday but I did not cook dinner.
Was it good? Breakfast, yes. Dinner will be good tonight. I get off at 5PM and don't have to work until 11:30 AM Monday. Tuesday is my day off.

What is the last fun thing you've done recently? Standing in the barn listening to the rain hit the metal roof. My life is pretty simple.
What would you like to do for fun next? If the road dries enough today that I can get out, I plan to drive over to a small town about 100 miles away to visit with an elderly guitar playing friend to whom I owe lunch and a jam session.

What is your weather like right now? Sunny and cool this morning but we received 1.3" of rain yesterday and last night.

What kind of weather would you like? Sunny, cool and dry works for me.

If you could move right now where would you move to? Right now my wife and I have homes in New Mexico and in western Texas. Although we are both native Texans and had sought to return to our home state in our retirements, neither of us like humidity especially when it's combined with heat. Retirement in a rural area of New Mexico is looking pretty good right now. Mountains are okay but we just do not want to live on one.

I'm happy where I live now... This too.

I don't know anything more about it except, per your question, and am keeping comments to myself on that one.
Last fun thing I did was kayaking on Lake Michigan. I actually enjoy a simple life, away from crowds and high end lifestyle.
