Okay...I lived just south of Appleton/Green Bay. Chilton. I love it there, always will. WI and OK, decisions, decisions.
Oh, Madison. Lots of pleasant memories there. *sigh*

Home is where my remaining family lives which is in Little Rock. Out of my whole family my two sisters and I are all that is left. We lost both older brothers within the last 5 years and our parents died at least 20 years ago. If I had my way we would all be back in Southern California where we were born and raised.
Thanks to the one sister who had seven kids, I have tons of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. I have one kid and he has not reproduced, yet.
I was born in Ohio and lived there until my family moved to California when I was 12,
so thinking of myself as a child I see Ohio as my home....teenage years to 34 I lived in
California so as a young adult I see California as my home...34 to now, 67, moved to
Colorado, now see Colorado as my home for most of my adult life...so I see 3 "homes"
overall but consider Colorado my home now, don't intend to move out of here.
Home is wherever I happen to be living at the moment. Moved so many times in the last decade that I don't really feel like I have roots in any of the places so here is home right now, and home will be somewhere else soon enough I'm sure.
This would be me too. Home is where I am right now. My home town will always be San Antonio TX but over the years I left there and moved to more than a few locations. Each one of those locations felt like home.

After having traveled (due to job requirements) extensively all over the Rocky Mountain West and most of the states west of the Mississippi river (for almost 40 working years), I wouldn't trade my place here in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana for any other location.
