It shouldn't scare you 2Goldens. When you first get the gun, if you know somebody who's good with guns, have him/her take you to a range and shoot your firearm to get a good feel for it, and you'll get comfortable with handling it. If you don't know such a person, many ranges have classes that teach you how to handle firearms, and shoot them safely.
