...anytime your driving somewhere it takes forever...

and on and on.

and the thing is when i write 'you're', everyone probably thinks i'm making a mistake.

Well, it then means that .01% of us do not use your when we should use you're (short for you are)......and nope you're not making a mistake.

It is just like "lose" and "loose". I HATE WHEN I LOOSE THE GAME!

Or "it's" and "its". If I keep going people will mistake me for an English teacher. :O

I guess i'm a grammar nazis too .. things like that drive me nuts, but i dont say anything ... years ago i was on a "health" message board and commented that [as posted above] lose and loose are not the same thing.

people would say, "I want to loose xx amount of weight"

boy did I get chewed up and spit out ... needless to say, i never went back to that board, even though i was on it a LONG time.

in many cases, i dont think peeps are spelling it wrong, just that 'quick typing' thing and they don't double check their spelling or grammar.... but -- it can be irritating some times ... but what gets me more is the UR for You are, or Gr8 for great ... it's that "kid texting lingo" that is like nails down a chalk board to me.

oh -- and don't even get me started with my bad !! i just wanna scream, learn proper English!!

ok -- enough of a vent from me.

Aw heck, I'll just go all out.

Their, there, and they're.

When people spell "u" instead of "you", or "r" instead of are. Putting in the number "4" instead of spelling "for". For is not equal to four.

Then you have "to" and "too".

This one is a bit technical, but in Linux it seems 90% of people ALWAYS call it X Windows. NO! It is X Window! There is absolutely NO "s". As my instructor said, "You add the "s" on Window and you automatically owe Bill Gates five dollars."

Anyways, yes, I think I'm finished. :P

No wait one more!

When people write "alright" as "allright" that one annoys me pretty bad. :O

How about when people add extra letters to their words all the time?
Ex: Dinning for dining. Tittle for title. Whinning for whining. Is english their second language or what??
Or is there a conspiracy to change the english language into one big incomprehensible language? (yes, i bet that's it.)

And one more thing that drives me nuts for some reason:
People Who Have To Capitalize Every Single Word They Type.

Not capitalizing proper names or lack of capitalization.

Earth, Moon, Jupiter, English, Scottish, Russian.
