I would have forgotten, but first thing this morning my sweet neighbor wished me a happy birthday! I never really celebrated my birthday, my parents never made a big deal about it, so I guess that's why it has never been a big deal to me. Sometimes it takes me a minute to remember how old I am!
In a good part of the Middle East, birthdates aren't recorded!
The only observable birthday celebrations, for me, have been 16, 18, 21, 40, 55, 62, and I'll celebrate my 65th if I live that long, and my 100th and 200th!
I'll never celebrate another one unless I make it to 90.
This last one kicked my ass. No alcohol was involved and no warning and was found (blue) on my living room floor. Emergency surgery, a scar stem to stern, comatose for a week. 5 weeks in the hospital - 4 surgeries total and 4 weeks of ER visits every other day...then another surgery.
They had me for dead - no joke. Here it is 30 days later and I'm already putting screens in and planting, mowing, planting. It slapped me and I slapped it back then I got the hospital bills and thought - 'Man, they should have left my ass on the floor.' - Just kidding.
So, I hope YOU have a safe, happy and HEALTHY birthday!!!!

Is it just me or are there others like me?
Do you celebrate?
Do you even remember it's your birthday?
I celebrate, and we celebrate everyone's birthday. Actually, it's a week-long celebration for each of us! At 74 years old, I've not missed celebrating any birthday, and won't until they quit showing up! This is the beginning of my birthday week, and we have 2 concerts, 3 dinners, and 2 short trips planned for the next 7 days. The more celebrations, the better!

Happy Birthday!💐🌹🎂🍻🍷🍹🍸🎉🎁🎈
One should always celebrate their birthday in anyway they can!! If your not wishing for the future, then celebrate the past.
Please never get to old for birthdays!!
I turn 60 next month and can't wait! Couldn't do anything about it anyway so may as well embrace it!😎
