The best place for those is the shredder.

Most days all I get is junk mail. However, I realize that this is about the only thing that keeps my small post office from being wiped out of existence during these times where everyone is looking at Federal budgets. Since I have to drive 55 and 65 miles roundtrip to get to a UPS or a FedEx facility, respectively, I much appreciate my post office who also gives me much better service than UPS and FedEx. A roundtrip walk out to my mailbox each day, and a secondary walk to my trash can, is good exercise.

huh, I didn't know that. My foster mom, used to give to so so so many of these mailings she got, you wouldn't believe how many. And then, they all came flowing in....she gave a few dollars to this one, and a few to that one and before she knew it, when it came time for us to take over, there were 50 some odd agencies begging her for money, so my brother in law, started sending them back, "return to sender", but, he told me, there is a special way it has to be done." He also said, sooner or later, when these agencies will grow tired of paying for the return and stop, b/c he did try to call a lot of them and got no where.

I don't mind the junk mail, I just shred it...but it is so much money wasted....who pays for all of that? For instance, every month for years, I've been getting stuff from Direct TV???? I believe their customers pays for that, and all that mail from X-finity...?????? Maybe, that is why our bills are so high, b/c they invest a whole lot of money in advertising.

What bothers me the most is when agencies send you 500 return address labels with your name and address on them....as said before, you cannot run them through the shredder, and I detest they take the liberty of doing that, especially with all the identity theft out there, I just simply don't like it.

used to order some tops and accessories online, won't say the company, however, they started sending me huge envelops of junk mail every two weeks? I'm not kidding, and they included pre-printed sticky labels....so I called them and they stopped, but never ordered from them again....so it does work, sometime?
