I probably have but I don't know for sure and I have been put on a few ignore lists as well.
Not a big deal and does not affect my real life or my forum life on any level.
Take heart, OP. Maybe you've heard of the Irish blessings:
May those who love us, love us. And those who don't love us - may God turn their hearts.
And if He cannot turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles, so that we may know them by their limping.
Or the shorter version:
May those who love us, love us well.
And those who don't go to . . .
Don't take it personal! People on these forums have many and varied reasons for friend-ing and de-friend-ing others. Some seem to like to have a fresh start every so often. No biggie.
Just the same as when offline, I tend to not be friends with anyone that insists on offensively running their mouth about politics.
Have your stance if you wish but don't insult others.
So, yeah, I've had to de-friend a few over that crap.
Anyway, it's such a bore! We could be talking about nice things.
Actually, I couldn't care less if I'm "unfriended." Heck, I might even encourage folks to "unfriend" me - that way I don't have to worry about hurting the feelings of "friends" and I can post what I REALLY think.
I have cleared my list (of friends) only when I thought I wouldn't be back on CD anymore.
The nice thing about the whole thing is that most of the folks I cleared (without explanation) came back and requested me again. I decided to hang in here, and my list is growing again!
Yes. Once I was friends with this Indian guy. But after his racist comments against Caucasian men, No Thanks . Instant befriending and reporting which led to him being banned from forums forever. Felt really bad about doing it though. Thank lord he did not say it in public, else he would be arrested immediately in my town by the cops and serve a 10 year prison sentence for bias intimidation.
