It's a slightly dull start to the morning as I get ready to head off to town.
Mrs J and I were up late last night preparing yet another quiz for a do next month.
I often get asked to prepare quizzes and generally enjoy doing them.
Whether I'm running one or taking part in one, one thing that annoys me is the person in the audience who speaks the answer too loudly to their team mates. Write the flipping answer down!
Those pictures look so appealing, I want to sit under the trees, take my shoes off and wiggle my toes in that rippling stream.
When I was younger, I was one of those honest-to-a-fault types who would sometimes blurt out the wrong thing at the wrong time, but since then I've learned that it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
Good morning everyone. I hope I dont' offend anyone but I find it is usually the men that do this.
I know when we play cards with another couple or two.......the guys are always the ones trying to put something over on the girls in order to win. And what sore loosers when they do loose. OMG. I used to think it was just my big baby husband but NOOOOOOOOOO....It is not.
BTW bayarea........I'm still that way to to change some of that and I have learned a thing or two in my old age but I"m still that way a little. Oh okay.....still a good bit....sometimes a lot.
My mother used to say I was honest to the point of being stupid.
Anyway.........have a good day and remember it is not important if you win or loose, it is how you play the game
Well in all honesty I have been known to talk a bit too loud and at a time when I should have kept my yap shut. Have gotten better about it, but still a work in progress.
