Happy hump day, kids! Today's Tip comes to us from nitram. (Thanks, nit!)
Scroll on down and check it out.

GO BANANAS!

Bananas are great energy boosters. Two bananas can provide enough energy to sustain you through a strenuous 90-minute workout!

Bananas are also great sources of nutrients which can help you prevent or overcome certain illnesses and medical conditions.

Bananas contain tryptophan, which can help you relax and improve your mood.

For PMS, eat a banana instead of a pill. Bananas contain vitamin B6, which regulates blood glucose levels and can help with PMS symptoms.

Bananas are high in iron, so they can help if you're anemic. They stimulate the production of hemoglobin.

Compared to an apple, a banana contains FOUR times the protein, TWICE the carbohydrates, THREE times the phosphorus, FIVE times the vitamin A and iron, and TWICE the other vitamins and minerals. Bananas are also loaded with potassium, which is great for your heart health.

The next time you're at the grocery store, pick up a bunch of bananas and boost your mood and your health!

I love bananas and eat them every day. However, I didn't realize they were such a nutritional powerhouse. Thanks, Pam! Thanks, nitram!

I love bananas. The only problem is how ever many I buy is how many I will eat in one sitting. I usually only buy one or two at a time.

Lately we've got out the habit of eating bananas but maybe we should get back into that habit.

It might help my PMS.
