FILLING A SOAP DISPENSER
Mrs. Tek came up with one yesterday.
I was filling the soap dispenser at the kitchen sink and it was going slow. It's a new one and it's slower that the one we had before (smaller fill opening). I was estimating an hour or so to fill it. Drip a little in, wait. Drip a little in, wait.
I'm standing there grousing and Mrs. Tek said, "Get a straw and stick it in the opening so the air can get out." I kinda rolled my eyes, but decided to give it a try. It worked! It's still not a speedy chore, but if you keep the bottom of the straw above the level of the soap already in the dispenser it flows much easier.
Takes two hands, though. One for the big jug of soap and one for the straw. Coordination is assumed.
