Well, I don’t know about you but I can’t believe we’re almost half-way through another year.
I know, I know I always say the same thing ‘bout this time, but dang . . . just can’t believe it.

Anyway, let’s get the show on the road with . . .

Today's Questions:
In honor of the ‘international cheese treaty’ being signed on this day in 1951 (sounds like a bunch of cheeses
had gone to war or something)

What is/are your favorite kind(s) of cheese?

Are there some foods/dishes that you absolutely, positively must have with cheese (if so, what are they)?

Is there any kind of cheese that you think is just foul (& why)?

What type of cheese would best describe your personality?

Most of us have been in the situation when we were driving somewhere and found ourselves lost. When was
the last time that happened to you?

Have you ever kept driving and ended up in a place you liked better than your original destination?

Do you have GPS in your vehicle?

If so, do you still manage to get lost once in a while?

If you don't have GPS, what would you do if you got lost, assuming you're not going to visit somebody you
know and can call for directions?

- Stop somewhere and ask for directions?
- Check a map?
- Forget the place and go somewhere else?
- Other?

What is/are your favorite kind(s) of cheese?
I like smoked cheese, Swiss cheese, Edam, and basic everyday hard cheeses that aren't too strong in flavour.

Are there some foods/dishes that you absolutely, positively must have with cheese (if so, what are they)?
Only macaroni cheese - cos it'd be kinda boring without the cheese!

Is there any kind of cheese that you think is just foul (& why)?
Any of the veiny, stinky cheeses - just too strong and weird for me (sorry A.Mutt!)

What type of cheese would best describe your personality?
Smoked cheese - smokin' hot

I get lost every time I drive to my daughter's house in Brisbane - that city has the world's worst sign-posting (either none at all, or a sign so close to the exit you don't have time to indicate and take it). Drives me mental!
Have you ever kept driving and ended up in a place you liked better than your original destination?
Yes, on road trips we have come across some magical places as a result of missing a turn.
Do you have GPS in your vehicle?
My daughter just gave me her old one, but I haven't used it yet. I will only need it when visiting her.

If so, do you still manage to get lost once in a while?
Dunno yet.

If you don't have GPS, what would you do if you got lost, assuming you're not going to visit somebody you know and can call for directions?

- Stop somewhere and ask for directions?
This second, or first if I don't have a map.
- Check a map?
This first.
- Forget the place and go somewhere else?
- Other?

Thanks Joy.

Happy Saturday to all.

Today's Questions:
In honor of the ‘international cheese treaty’ being signed on this day in 1951 (sounds like a bunch of cheeses
had gone to war or something)

What is/are your favorite kind(s) of cheese?

You know I am going to start with Stinky Cheese. I like the stronger flavored cheese. I also like sharp cheddar, extra sharp cheddar, blue, swiss, brie, more stinky cheese, and just about everything else at the cheese counter.

Are there some foods/dishes that you absolutely, positively must have with cheese (if so, what are they)?

A cheese sandwich just is not the same without cheese.

Is there any kind of cheese that you think is just foul (& why)?

Cottage cheese. It is gross.

What type of cheese would best describe your personality?

I would say stinky but I do take showers and wear clean clothes. I will go with extra sharp cheddar.

Most of us have been in the situation when we were driving somewhere and found ourselves lost. When was
the last time that happened to you?

Has probably been a year or two.

Have you ever kept driving and ended up in a place you liked better than your original destination?

It has happened. I often drive with no real destination in mind. Where ever I end up is where I end up.

Do you have GPS in your vehicle?

I do. My job often requires me to drive from one location to another.

If so, do you still manage to get lost once in a while?

My GPS is known to go out partying and show up with a hangover. When that happens I occasionally end up lost

If you don't have GPS, what would you do if you got lost, assuming you're not going to visit somebody you
know and can call for directions?

- Stop somewhere and ask for directions?
- Check a map?
- Forget the place and go somewhere else?
- Other?

Find the nearest bar and stop in for a beer. One beer leads to another. Soon I can no longer drive. I am still lost but I no longer care. I stumble to the hotel across the street and get a room. The next morning I ask the hotel clerk for directions. If the clerk does not know then I head back to the bar and repeat the process. Only I check into a different hotel so that I get a different clerk to ask for directions.

What is/are your favorite kind(s) of cheese? Colby longhorn, American, cheddar, Swiss, blue, to name a few.

Are there some foods/dishes that you absolutely, positively must have with cheese (if so, what are they)? Toasted cheese samwich's, baked potato, Ritz crackers, tacos, enchiladas, tostados, pizza, chili, anything that looks like cheese will improve it.

Is there any kind of cheese that you think is just foul (& why)? Stinky Limburger, it reminds me of too much Rush Limbaugher.

What type of cheese would best describe your personality? Any cutting cheese. I'm the official cheese cutter around here. At every party I like to cut the cheese.

Very funny!Imagine all those packages of cheese duking it out in the dairy aisle.

What is/are your favorite kind(s) of cheese?
Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, Asiago, Mozzarella cream cheese, string cheese, Havarti, Jarlsberg, Brie, Stilton, Gouda

Are there some foods/dishes that you absolutely, positively must have with cheese (if so, what are they)?
Spaghetti needs grated Parmesan on top, so does minestrone. Also: Pizza, tuna casserole, tacos, enchiladas and macaroni and cheese.
Is there any kind of cheese that you think is just foul (& why)?
I've never been a fan of Swiss cheese, though I wouldn't call it "foul." I also don't care for processed cheese, as in Velveeta or that cheese stuff that comes in spray cans.
What type of cheese would best describe your personality?
I'm a softy, so I'll say cream cheese.
