Good morning peevers.

It's warmed up quite a bit and Molly and I shot off to a local village to take some pictures before the rain hits later.

Molly's getting quite good at this photography thing, as you'll see in my next post.

As to the POTD, I've been umming and ahhing as to whether to buy some more shirts from a company who have an online facility, whose sale ends today. I have a few of their shirts, and other items of clothing and they are my favourite source of clothing.

In the past I've rushed into their sale only to find that another 'sale' pops up soon after.

So that leads me to the peeve;

When is a sale not a sale?

So, Miss Molly and I pootled over to the village with intriguing name of Nomansland.

It has a lovely village green which has a cricket pitch and a lovely rustic clubhouse. There's also a War Memorial on the green, and the obligatory pub next to it.

It's the only pub I've ever been where a donkey wandered in.

Good one! Especially around the holidays, merchants know how to fool people. Watch the prices of things about a month prior, they will go up just a little, then around the holidays they will mark it as '25% off'...or whatever, when in reality, that percentage 'off' was the original price 2 months ago in the first place Ive actually observed that happen~~~

The entire setting of Nomansland is intriguing. Very rustic and comes with a pony! What happened after the donkey wandered into the pub?

When is a sale not a sale?

They are quite often not really sales. If you don't already know what the regular price is, then you just get monetarily screwed.

It tried to buy a pint but got kicked out as it was underage. Silly ass! (The donkey, not you!)

Nice pictures!

I was shopping with a friend the other day and we comment that we would probably anything. if it was marked 'sale".
