Mines was last week on November 1, a Mercedes Benz commercial. Ah, it feels good to be in the "season" again.

Uh, this is a little to easy because I'm obsessed with it.. but I found THE LOVE OF MY LIFE sitting next to the milk at the grocery store.

EGG NOG = LOVE.

I don't know how I survive the months that it's not on store shelves! For all of you wondering, I weigh 155 and my metabolism is sky high, so don't give me that "it's bad for you!" stuff. LOL.

I'll usually buy the "normal" egg nog but I went with the flavored kind on my last trip. Tomorrow I'll be buying regular egg nog .

PS: picture is from a few days ago.

I'm trying to convince my husband to put our sleigh out. And I'm considering setting up the dining room tree within the next week.

We have a neighborhood home that never takes their xmas lights down and they light 'em up everynight of the year.

The stores in our area started putting out Christmas displays in about mid-October; by the 20th, all the Halloween stuff was shoved off into just one small area, and the flood of red and green filled all the seasonal areas of the stores. By the 31st, the stores had trees up and decorated, Christmas music on the loudspeakers, and all the holiday calories were on full display.

And you know what? The earlier they start it, the less I feel inclined to get into the holiday spirit and go out and spend money. If it's a strategy to convince shoppers to spend more on nonessentials at the holidays, it's backfiring with me.

I think it was late September in a garden centre- they were selling Christmas cards and 2013 calenders.

My first Christmas sighting this year was a few days ago when a certain C-D curumdgeon asked if Christmas displays were up yet. Next thing I know I find myself humming Christmas carols while driving down the road. I don't even like Christmas carols. I will get even.
