We had a lovely catch up meal last night with friends from the US who are visiting the area. We've known them ever since their toddler daughter and our toddler daughter bumped into each other at the airport terminal in London as we were waiting to fly out on vacation.
By absolute coincidence we saw them the next day at the hotel in Crete where we were both staying! We've been in touch through transatlantic moves on by both parties for seventeen years!
I was flabbergasted when I realised that we haven't actually seen each other for a few years.
