Just for fun, I'll make it a contest, and whoever wins gets the Beautiful Cream Cake.
I remember the one that always began running a couple weeks before Christmas, where Santa came sliding down a snowbank on an electric razor, but I can't remember the brand.
The radio played a commercial around Easter for Bass sandles, "The best comfort for feet on the beach!"
***And a bonus round ~ The billboards all over town for, "The Coppertone kid with the dog snagging ***the bathing suit bottom".
Now it's YOUR turn! Ready? Set.... GOOOoooooooooo!!!
Now..I am a Boomer so this will be funny as hell. Ready?
"Pop, pop, fizz, fizz, oh what a relief it is"....ALKA SELTZER
Man jumping around in his "Hanes" socks in his boxers trying to stomp the socks down..they wouldn't fall to his ankles. Don't recall the words..it was funny!
"Imperial Margarine"..man bites into toast with Imperial Margarine on it and immediately a crown appears on his head..DUT, da, da, DAH!!
Marlboro Man..on a horse smoking a cigarette..Gosh, I guess he was pretty hot because folks still refer to a "manly man" as the "Marlboro Man" to this day!
Doublemint Twins for Doublemint Gum..."Double your pleasure, double your fun with doublemint, doublemint, doublemint gum..."
OK, old folks! Who remembers this Hertz Rent A Car commercial? I think I remember seeing it a lot during Bonanza on Sunday nights. Especially the last part where they float down to the car.
All the cigarette commercials. Most major brands had them but I'm not looking them up because I hate big tobacco and the entire industry.
"LSMFT" for Lucky Strike.
The Marlboro man.
And the one that sticks out the most is Benson & Hedges. The singing and dancing with the "silly millimeter longer" jingle.
