Anyone else noticed that google now has a neat new three domination view that is interactive with you. You can control where you go and what you see “inside” the restaurant. I always enjoyed using this feature for “on the street” views but now it’s “inside some restaurants”. The link below is of CIBO in Phoenix that has wonderful pizza.
After clicking the link for a map view, click picture to the right of the first map PIN A review. It should open onto another page with yet the 3D view of the inside and allows you to move any direction while walking around inside the old house.
Very interesting feature that google has provided. Now I hope to see it on more restaurants in the area.
I was amazed when I stumbled onto this new feature. It could have been there for a while and I missed it, but it was earlier this week that I first noticed the “inside” view. I saw the little > icons on the floor and so I clicked it and sure enough I moved forward into the next room. Then tried the rotation thing and I could turn around to view all 360 degrees. I didn’t try getting into the kitchen yet,,,,, lol that might be an issue. Clicking the > or < and using the rotation item at the top of the view to turn works that same as if you were on one of the streets that they allow “street views” to happen.
While looking at another favorite place of Mrs Aks,,,,, I found that P.F. Chang's in Scottsdale also has a view of the inside and you can walk around to see what the place is like. Simply google the name and click on the picture of the restaurant to open up the side view.
(interestingly I can not enter a "link" for this one, it keeps adding the other CIBO link instead of P.F.Chang's. ~ I don't understand that problem?)
