Ok I dont know where to ask this and honestly if it needs to be moved go for it but I had no idea where to put it...

Todd and I were sitting in the living room when we heard something go thump on on our front door... I look out and theres a bird laying on its side..Well now the bird is sitting up awake and alert well as much as a bird can be =) My question is should I do something to help it.. I mean wouldnt doubt its prolly pretty stunned since it sounded kinda loud when it hit. Do I call somebody and who on a Sunday??? Or just let it be and hope for the best?

I would watch it to make sure nothing bothers it. If it is ok, it should fly off shortly. If not, call animal control or a vet. If you can't get either one, bring it in and call a vet first thing in the morning. Oh, you might want to put it in a box, cage, or other small inclosed space if you do decide to bring it in.

It may have broken bones or something,,, protect it from cats and dogs in the area and just let it be and hope for the best!

Great news,,,,, sometimes it's always best to leave things alone and it will take care of itself.

We have birds hit the windows all the time. You'd be suprised how hard they can hit and survive.
