The only thing we reset is our microwave. Everything else is plugged into a UPS so they keep power unless it's a really long blackout, which we've never had here.
Especially those gazillion clocks and then syncronizing them....t5hen theirs those TV's that need to be re-set
every time the power goes out we end up with a different time zone in each of the rooms...only by a minute or two, though...
can never get them all to read the same time so I just leave them alone.
luckily, the tv re-sets itself, just hate to have to wait for it to come back on,seems to take forever, especially if it's in the middle of a good program...

Reason: another thought
Good morning peevers, and a glorious one it is here!
Mrs J and I were watching an old movie last night- the original (and best) Italian Job. Suddenly all went dark due to what turned out to be quite a long power cut. It seems to have affected quite a large area around here.
What is a pain is what happens afterwards, and as that is the POTD here it is;
Resetting everything after a powercut.
Oooooo - I hate when that happens! I had to do it twice last week.
Good peeve, Jezer!
