I like being able to travel thru all 50 states without getting a traffic ticket!

I started my once-a-year tour of the states last week, in alphabetical order. The last state I visited was Maryland before time ran out.

It's interesting the different flavors of the posters from the different states.

Those deep south states can be a lot of fun to traipse through, and I learned, from the Hawaii forums, about the termite problem over there. Imagine! Termites eating away at someone's door on the 35th floor of a high rise! All that you can learn just from the state forums!

Hmmm, I thought a while back, I'll tell 'em what I'm eating!! Most people there, talk about all sorts of meals I've never heard of, or animals they've shot, and ate. I told them about a high tea Judy and I had in a fancy hotel in Manchester. I described the little sandwiches, the cute little cream cakes, and the Earl Grey tea we drank. I waited for a response - nothing. So, I told them about our lovely Christmas Day meal, response - nothing. I tried telling them about my unusual breakfast - nothing!! I was loving it, they must have been thinking "who is this crazy guy from England telling us about his meals". I haven't been on there for a while, South Dakota is due a visit!! I love City-Data!!!

Never occurred to me that folks from England would be interested in what people in South Dakota are eating.

I've learned some things from reading the photo forum on how to take pictures and what to do with a few issues. Also I just enjoyed looking at some great pics as well.

You can eat an ice cream cone & no one says to themselves, "Should she really be eating that?"

That is very interesting! This wasn't a recent trip? If it was, you were listening to the oldies station? I love the oldies stations!

Oh, my gosh. No. It was probably more than thirty years ago. I am verrrrrrry old.
