I never shop at Dollar General. Too much overpriced overseas junk.

I thought of a couple more.

I can watch anything on Comcast TV for about 12 straight hours for a dollar.

I can get on-line on my computer for 24 hours solid for about a buck.

I can electrify and heat my apartment for about 18 hours for a dollar.

I can drive back and forth to the local grocery store for about a buck in gas.

I can give a dollar to a homeless person at the stoplight and then get at least a dollars worth of positive karma.

$1 here is about £0.60 - £0.65 in Britain. As for what you can buy with it, a chocolate bar or one of the cheaper newspapers maybe, a litre of milk or half a litre of petrol? Not much!
