Every cloud has a silver lining!

If the dent isn't too bad, you can fix it yourself. Most auto parts stores sell what looks like a big suction cup for small to moderate dents. That's what my son did when a looney tune in a hurry backed into him. Pocketed a nice $1200.00 too!

Don't you just love 'found' money when you need it. Twice something like that happened to me and I found it really odd because it was the exact amount I needed.

Once, in college, I wrote a check to pay for all my next quarter's classes but I had to figure out a way to get $452.00 to cover the check I wrote on a Friday by Monday. On that Saturday I went on a date to a horse race track and he gave me $20 to bet with and I walked out of there with exactly $452.00. (Please note: I don't advocate gambling as a means to make money. I usually go once a year).

I can't remember what I needed it for, but it was something important and I was sweating over it. I had to get $60 somehow. The very next day, I got a dividend check in the mail from one of my insurance companies for exactly $60.

Yes, so true, found money is unbelievable! Amazing when things work out this way. Glad you've had the same kind of luck!

My car has so many dents- and none made by me! Not even this last one! HA I don't need to fix it. So glad it wasn't me not looking- I've had a few of those in the past, emmm, can't remember the details though!
