It's a so called 'Bank Holiday', a National holiday in England today, the last before Christmas.
It's nearly the end of our daughter's school summer holiday break and that got me thinking about a peeve for today. (Actually I'm in a pretty good mood so peeves are hard for me to find today.)
So, thinking of that holiday, let's expand the idea and have as today's peeve;
Our beautiful warm summer is coming to an end, but that heralds the arrival of fall with all of it's beautiful colours, and winter which means crisp, clear snow and the delight of a warm fireplace, and onto the birth of spring. I think each time of our seasons be it weather or life, gives us endings and new beginnings...
...like when your kids turn 9 and the magical part of childhood raising is over.
